Measuring Instructions

Travetto Double Curtain Track System with Wooden Decorative Valance measuring guide

Getting the curtain width right

To choose the correct width for the Travetto Double Curtain Track System with Wooden Decorative Valance, measure against the track rather than the window. A track that extends beyond the window keeps the drawn curtain clear of the glass, so daylight isn't blocked during the day, while leaving plenty of space to bunch the drapes to one side once the window is opened completely.

If you opt to mount the Travetto Double Curtain Track System with Wooden Decorative Valance from wall to wall (running the full length of the wall), it's best to leave 3–8 cm of clearance at each end particularly for tracks whose decorative finials are secured by screwing them on.

Assembly Instructions

Remove the track end caps from both sides.
Insert the required number of curtain hooks into the two tracks.
Install the end caps back into their original positions.
For the wall-mounted version, screw the support arms securely to the curtain rod.
Install the complete curtain system on the wall or directly onto the ceiling.
Attach the sheer curtain and blackout curtain to the hooks inside the tracks.

FAQ

Good to know

Quick answers to what most customers ask before ordering.

Chat on WhatsApp See all questions

How do I measure?

Measure the width of your window and add 25–30 cm on each side, so the curtains can open fully without covering the glass. For a wall-to-wall fit, measure the full distance between the walls. The length you enter already includes the end caps.

When will it arrive?

Every rod is made to order. Production takes about 2 weeks, then we ship it with a tracking number so you can follow it to your door.

What's in the box?

The rod, the mounting brackets, curtain hooks (about one per 10 cm) and the screws needed to assemble the rod. Need more hooks? Just add a note to your order.

Will it hold heavy curtains?

Yes – it holds any curtain without a problem, thanks to solid wood and an integrated aluminium inner track.

My window is very wide – is that a problem?

Not at all. Longer rods come in two pieces with a connector – or, on request, in one piece up to 4 m (extra shipping may apply).

How can I pay?

PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard, Visa and Shop Pay. All prices include VAT.
