Measuring Instructions

Curtain and drape track system Travetto Double made of wood measuring guide

Calculating your curtain width

The simplest way to size the Curtain and drape track system Travetto Double made of wood is to add 25–30 cm to the left and right of your window width, depending on the space available. The recommended margin varies with the fabric: for sheer curtains, make the track 20 cm wider on each side than the window; for drapes, 25 cm on each side; and for heavier fabrics, 30 cm on each side.

When choosing your curtain width for the Curtain and drape track system Travetto Double made of wood, base it on the width of the track, not the window. The track is wider than the window so the drawn curtain doesn't cover the glass or darken the room during the day and so you have enough room to gather the drapes aside when the window is opened fully.

If you choose to fit the Curtain and drape track system Travetto Double made of wood from wall to wall (along the entire length of the wall), we recommend leaving 3–8 cm of free space at each end especially for tracks whose decorative finials are fixed in place by screwing them on.

Assembly Instructions

Take off the track stoppers from each side of the curtain system.
Feed the hooks one by one into the front and rear tracks.
Replace the end pieces and tighten them securely.
If the system is wall mounted, attach the wall brackets to the curtain rod with the supplied screws.
Secure the assembled curtain rod firmly to the wall or ceiling.
Place the sheer curtain and blackout curtain onto their designated hooks.

Chat on WhatsApp See all questions

How do I measure?

Measure the width of your window and add 25–30 cm on each side, so the curtains can open fully without covering the glass. For a wall-to-wall fit, measure the full distance between the walls. The length you enter already includes the end caps.

When will it arrive?

Every rod is made to order. Production takes about 2 weeks, then we ship it with a tracking number so you can follow it to your door.

What's in the box?

The rod, the mounting brackets, curtain hooks (about one per 10 cm) and the screws needed to assemble the rod. Need more hooks? Just add a note to your order.

Will it hold heavy curtains?

Yes – it holds any curtain without a problem, thanks to solid wood and an integrated aluminium inner track.

My window is very wide – is that a problem?

Not at all. Longer rods come in two pieces with a connector – or, on request, in one piece up to 4 m (extra shipping may apply).

How can I pay?

PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard, Visa and Shop Pay. All prices include VAT.
