Measuring Instructions

Conic Wooden Curtain Track System with Decorative Valance measuring guide

Calculating your curtain width

To size the Conic Wooden Curtain Track System with Decorative Valance, the easiest method is to add 25–30 cm on either side of your window width, according to the space you have available. The ideal allowance depends on your fabric: allow around 20 cm extra per side for sheer curtains, 25 cm per side for drapes, and 30 cm per side for thicker, heavier materials.

When choosing the curtain width for the Conic Wooden Curtain Track System with Decorative Valance, take your measurement from the track rather than the window. Because the track is wider than the window, the closed curtain stays off the glass and the room isn't shaded during the day and you'll have ample space to draw the drapes aside when the window is fully open.

If you decide to install the Conic Wooden Curtain Track System with Decorative Valance from wall to wall (across the entire length of the wall), we recommend keeping 3–8 cm of free space at each end particularly for tracks whose decorative finials are attached by screwing them on.

Assembly Instructions

Take off the closing pieces from both ends of the curtain system.
Insert the hooks into the front and rear tracks.
Reattach the end pieces to close the tracks.
If installing on a wall, attach the support brackets to the curtain rod using screws.
Fix the assembled system to the selected wall or ceiling surface.
Hang the curtain and blackout drape on their corresponding hooks.

FAQ

Good to know

Quick answers to what most customers ask before ordering.

Chat on WhatsApp See all questions

How do I measure?

Measure the width of your window and add 25–30 cm on each side, so the curtains can open fully without covering the glass. For a wall-to-wall fit, measure the full distance between the walls. The length you enter already includes the end caps.

When will it arrive?

Every rod is made to order. Production takes about 2 weeks, then we ship it with a tracking number so you can follow it to your door.

What's in the box?

The rod, the mounting brackets, curtain hooks (about one per 10 cm) and the screws needed to assemble the rod. Need more hooks? Just add a note to your order.

Will it hold heavy curtains?

Yes – it holds any curtain without a problem, thanks to solid wood and an integrated aluminium inner track.

My window is very wide – is that a problem?

Not at all. Longer rods come in two pieces with a connector – or, on request, in one piece up to 4 m (extra shipping may apply).

How can I pay?

PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard, Visa and Shop Pay. All prices include VAT.
