Measuring Instructions

Choosing your curtain width

To pick the correct curtain width, work from the width of the Dalia Wooden Curtain Rod with Aluminum Track rather than the window. Because the rod sits wider than the window, the curtain stays off the glass when closed keeping the room light through the day and you'll have ample space to draw the drapes aside whenever the window is opened all the way.

Sizing the Dalia Wooden Curtain Rod with Aluminum Track is straightforward: simply add 25–30 cm beyond each side of your window width, based on the wall space available. The right amount depends on your fabric for sheer curtains allow about 20 cm extra on each side, for drapes 25 cm on each side, and for heavier fabrics 30 cm on each side.

For a wall-to-wall installation of the Dalia Wooden Curtain Rod with Aluminum Track (running across the entire wall), we recommend keeping 3–8 cm of free space at either end particularly with rods whose decorative finials are attached by screwing them on.

Assembly Instructions

Attach the wall plate to the bracket arm with the rear screw.
Lower the bracket onto the rod and fix it with the two top screws.
Slide the glide hooks into the track.
Screw the end caps onto the rod ends.
Fix the assembly to the wall through the plates.
Hang the curtain on the hooks.

FAQ

Good to know

Quick answers to what most customers ask before ordering.

Chat on WhatsApp See all questions

How do I measure?

Measure the width of your window and add 25–30 cm on each side, so the curtains can open fully without covering the glass. For a wall-to-wall fit, measure the full distance between the walls. The length you enter already includes the end caps.

When will it arrive?

Every rod is made to order. Production takes about 2 weeks, then we ship it with a tracking number so you can follow it to your door.

What's in the box?

The rod, the mounting brackets, curtain hooks (about one per 10 cm) and the screws needed to assemble the rod. Need more hooks? Just add a note to your order.

Will it hold heavy curtains?

Yes – it holds any curtain without a problem, thanks to solid wood and an integrated aluminium inner track.

My window is very wide – is that a problem?

Not at all. Longer rods come in two pieces with a connector – or, on request, in one piece up to 4 m (extra shipping may apply).

How can I pay?

PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard, Visa and Shop Pay. All prices include VAT.
