Measuring Instructions

Firenze Wooden Curtain Track System with Decorative Valance measuring guide

Choosing the right curtain width

When deciding on the width of your Firenze Wooden Curtain Track System with Decorative Valance, base it on the width of the track rather than the window. The track is wider than the window so that the drawn curtain doesn't cover the glass or shade the room during the day and so you have enough space to gather the drapes to the side when the window is opened fully.

If you choose to fit the Firenze Wooden Curtain Track System with Decorative Valance from wall to wall (along the entire length of the wall), we recommend leaving 3–8 cm of free space at each end particularly for tracks whose decorative finials are fixed in place by screwing them on.

Assembly Instructions

Remove the closing elements from the ends of the tracks.
Place the curtain hooks into both aluminium guide rails.
Fit the end stops back onto both sides of the curtain rod.
For wall installation, connect the brackets to the curtain rod and tighten them with screws.
Position and secure the curtain rod on the wall or ceiling.
Hang the curtain and blackout curtain on the prepared hooks.

FAQ

Good to know

Quick answers to what most customers ask before ordering.

Chat on WhatsApp See all questions

How do I measure?

Measure the width of your window and add 25–30 cm on each side, so the curtains can open fully without covering the glass. For a wall-to-wall fit, measure the full distance between the walls. The length you enter already includes the end caps.

When will it arrive?

Every rod is made to order. Production takes about 2 weeks, then we ship it with a tracking number so you can follow it to your door.

What's in the box?

The rod, the mounting brackets, curtain hooks (about one per 10 cm) and the screws needed to assemble the rod. Need more hooks? Just add a note to your order.

Will it hold heavy curtains?

Yes – it holds any curtain without a problem, thanks to solid wood and an integrated aluminium inner track.

My window is very wide – is that a problem?

Not at all. Longer rods come in two pieces with a connector – or, on request, in one piece up to 4 m (extra shipping may apply).

How can I pay?

PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard, Visa and Shop Pay. All prices include VAT.
