When deciding on curtain width, base it on the Double wooden curtain track Siena, not on the size of the window. Because the track sits wider than the window on both sides, the drawn curtain won't cover the glass or shade the room during the day and you'll have ample space to gather the drapes aside once the window is fully open.

Sizing the Double wooden curtain track Siena is simple: add 25–30 cm beyond each side of your window width, depending on how much wall space you have. The best allowance comes down to the fabric about 20 cm per side for sheer curtains, 25 cm per side for drapes, and 30 cm per side for thicker, heavier fabrics.

If you choose to install the Double wooden curtain track Siena from wall to wall (covering the full width of the wall), leave a gap of 3–8 cm at each end this is especially important for tracks whose decorative finials are fastened by screwing them into place.

How do I measure?

Measure the width of your window and add 25–30 cm on each side, so the curtains can open fully without covering the glass. For a wall-to-wall fit, measure the full distance between the walls. The length you enter already includes the end caps.

When will it arrive?

Every rod is made to order. Production takes about 2 weeks, then we ship it with a tracking number so you can follow it to your door.

What's in the box?

The rod, the mounting brackets, curtain hooks (about one per 10 cm) and the screws needed to assemble the rod. Need more hooks? Just add a note to your order.

Will it hold heavy curtains?

Yes – it holds any curtain without a problem, thanks to solid wood and an integrated aluminium inner track.

My window is very wide – is that a problem?

Not at all. Longer rods come in two pieces with a connector – or, on request, in one piece up to 4 m (extra shipping may apply).
