Description

Double curtain and drape track Knauern is the ideal choice for those who want a practical, durable, and aesthetic solution for window arrangement. Made from high quality aluminum, this curtain track system allows the simultaneous installation of curtains and drapes, combining functionality with a modern and elegant design.

A major advantage of this system is its installation flexibility: it can be mounted as a wall mounted curtain track or a ceiling mounted curtain track, adapting perfectly to any type of room. Thanks to the two parallel tracks, this double curtain track system enables efficient organization of fabrics, giving you the possibility to control light and privacy according to your preferences.

The Knauern double curtain track is equipped with durable brackets, elegant end caps, and sliding gliders that ensure smooth and silent movement of the curtains and drapes. The aluminum construction guarantees long term durability and resistance, while maintaining a clean and refined appearance.

With its minimalist and functional design, this curtain rail system integrates perfectly into both classic and modern interiors. Whether used in a living room, bedroom, or office, it provides an elegant and easy to use solution that enhances both comfort and style.

Choose the Knauern double curtain track for a high quality, practical, and aesthetic product designed to combine functionality with modern elegance.

Measuring Instructions

Working out the right curtain width

The width of your curtain should be based on the Double curtain and drape track Knauern, not on the window. With the track extending past the window on either side, the curtain stays clear of the glass when closed so the room isn't darkened during the day and there's plenty of room to draw the drapes aside when the window is opened fully.

The simplest way to size the Double curtain and drape track Knauern is to add 25–30 cm to each side of your window width, according to the space you have. The ideal allowance depends on the fabric: for sheer curtains, make the track about 20 cm wider on each side than the window; for drapes, 25 cm on each side; and for thicker, heavier fabrics, 30 cm on each side.

If you prefer to mount the Double curtain and drape track Knauern from wall to wall (across the entire length of the wall), we recommend leaving 3–8 cm of free space at each end particularly for tracks whose decorative finials are fixed in place with screws.

Chat on WhatsApp See all questions

How do I measure?

Measure the width of your window and add 25–30 cm on each side, so the curtains can open fully without covering the glass. For a wall-to-wall fit, measure the full distance between the walls. The length you enter already includes the end caps.

When will it arrive?

Every rod is made to order. Production takes about 2 weeks, then we ship it with a tracking number so you can follow it to your door.

What's in the box?

The rod, the mounting brackets, curtain hooks (about one per 10 cm) and the screws needed to assemble the rod. Need more hooks? Just add a note to your order.

Will it hold heavy curtains?

Yes – it holds any curtain without a problem, thanks to solid wood and an integrated aluminium inner track.

My window is very wide – is that a problem?

Not at all. Longer rods come in two pieces with a connector – or, on request, in one piece up to 4 m (extra shipping may apply).

How can I pay?

PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard, Visa and Shop Pay. All prices include VAT.
